The Journey of Flight !

Have you seen a bird's flight,
Undeterred by the distance and the night?
Across the vast ocean it glides,
No compass, no hand to guide.

Look how it came from an egg,
A tiny promise, a future to peg.
And the beak was fed by someone who cared,
Eyes couldn’t open, how she'd have dared.

How harsh it felt when kicked off the nest,
Alone, uncertain, yet she faced the test.
Sky above was too high to seek,
Her wings were new, too small, too weak.

The world seemed endless, so much to learn,
But their love helped wings to turn.
The parents' 'hands' guided the way,
Helping the bird rise, day by day.

Then came the moment when she flew on her own,
Leaving the nest, the world to be known.
The parents watched with eyes full of pride,
Knowing she’d soar, but never return to their side.

- Ayaan (with guidance and love of my parents)

I wish to dedicate this poem to all the parents whose love, care, and guidance help their children grow and rise to face the world with courage. It is also dedicated to every child who, with the strength and resilience learnt from their parents, finds the courage to soar, even in the face of uncertainty.

No journey is ever taken alone, their love and support are the wings that help us fly.
